Dr. Nicola Veronese received the Italian National Association of Young Innovators for the Italian Society of Geriatrics Hospital and Territory Award

Technology is the protagonist in the ANGI Award, the Italian National Association of Young Innovators. Among the awards of the 2021 edition, the fourth, stands out the Award in the "Human Resources and Training" section to the Italian Society of Geriatrics Hospital and Territory (SIGOT). The award was received by the Scientific Director of SIGOT Nicola Veronese, who underlined the guiding element in the work of the company, the multidimensional approach.

"Over 30 years of scientific research attest that the comprehensive geriatric assessment is the most accurate and effective tool in the diagnosis and treatment of older people. Even the recent literature linked to the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that the age is not sufficient to characterize the older person and to define the clinical course of diseases. Clinical decisions for older individuals require an overall assessment that takes into account the different "dimensions" such as medical conditions, disabilities, psychological and social aspects".
